Munich, Vienna and Prague!

Hi!!! Start from day one! MUNICH/MÜNCHEN I arrived in Munich, with a bloody heavy pack! The flight was fine and the weather was perfect (surprise surprise considering I was leaving England it would have to get warm!) I got there, smartly looking up what the word in German was for exit and baggage I was doing ok! Richie and I found each pter quite easily! Likely for well known tnc's like Starbucks! Our hotel room was nice, and now looking back on it was very happy to have a bathroom of our own!! Haha Munich was actually beautiful, the weather was lovely and the sun was out most days! I was even lucky enough to get a visitor from my lovely German friend Maike who was an exchange student at school.. And who I haven't seen in 6 years! ( makes me feel old! Haha ) that was really nice! MUNICH-VIENNA/WIEN (sun 17th June) we caught the train to Vienna! The train ride was horrendous!! The trip was meant to take just over 3 hours.. But due to a horrible incident on the tracks it ended up taking us 7 1/2 hours to get there, which involved 5 trains, 1 underground and a bus!!! Hahaha but we made it!!! For obvious reasons we had a dry quiet night that night! Although we had moved from a private bedroom and bathroom to a 20 room dorm!! With one bathroom hahaha. A lot of snoring men!! Was interesting though! The next day (18th)we explode red Vienna, we visited schonbrunn palace (which until rich corrected me I was calling scrotum haha -(cultured I know haha), the theme park which has a 110 year old ferris wheel (we werebt game haha) and te centre of town and soaking in the amazing atmosphere and the old buildings! Vienna is a beautiful town, quiet but one I definitely recommend! We ended up having dinner at a brewery! I actually liked the beer and we had really good burgers! Found a few building (the names escape me at the moment) that were so beautiful at sunset! That day was also a absolute scorcher! 37 degrees! And we felt it haha living in london with no sun, my body didn't expect it. The days go so quickly here and the sun doesn't go down until quite late so what we thought was a early night was actually a 1 am bedtime! Back to our 20 beds haha. The next day (19th) was another day spent wandering around Vienna! We came across some beautiful buildings, the botanical gardens and the parliament house! A bit over the top haha but it's Vienna! It can be.. Another day of amazing sunshine! And Richie was practicing is now trade mark jump ( you will see in all the pictures!!) Rich had picked up a brochure of a pub in Vienna that had €1 beers, Aussie theme with Vegemite toasties and basically everything Aussie themed! Well!! We didn't know what we were in for! We headed out planning to have a drink or two, when we got there we got chatting to a guy at the bar (now our fiend on Facebook and the owner haha) we told him about how where from aus and got chatting! Te whole place was specifically designed for back pakcers, with ularu painted on one wall, statue of liberty on the other all the staff are Aussie! Only two Austrian (owner and one other guy) the bar was crazy with bizarre shots that would never be legal in aus like the fire shot etc! We ended up getting free drinks all night! And the boss ended up drinking with us haha. It ended up being a 5:30am finish! And we were meant to e catching a train at 9:30!! 9:35 (20th) we woke up haha. Feeling very very sorry for ourselves! Our next train didnt leave for another 3 hours! So we checked out and went and layed on the grass! And drank a lot of water! We arrived at the station and hoped on our next train! It looked great!! Had our own both what looked like aircon and power points! It was anther 5 hour trip and 35 degree day! As the train departed we realised (still hung over!) our air con wasn't working!!! And there were no windows, that could be opened!! 5 hours later you can imagine how we were feeling! Posiibly the worst train ride of my life! I actually thought I might have passed out! Probably would have been more comfortable haha. But none the less... We made it! Gasping for air as we hopped off the train but still! PRAGUE/PRAHA We arrived at the station! The first thing we realised is absolutely nobody speaks a word of English! They just smile haha. We got offered a place to stay by an old lady haha :/ after that and our trip we just wanted to find the hostel! Slowly we figured it out and caught the tram. It's actually a very easy hostel to find.. Luckily! It's really nice and new, we walked into our room, (which was meant to be a 10 bed but was 8) and walked into a room full of girls! (4 very pretty English girls! 2 not do pretty Americans!) we both thought they had our booking wrong and we were in an all held room! NO.. Rich was just super lucky! Haha e was the only boy! We didn't do a lot that night we were exhausted! The next day the girls moved out :( but we got to Scottish boys instead who ended up being brilliant! Very funny! We spent our first full day in Prague, one trying to figure out there currency! (which I still can't wrap my head around, it just doesn't feel right giving a 100/200 note and getting small coins haha. Two checking out the sights! We found the national museum, Charles bridge (which there is a statue on it that is a tiny bit gold and people rub, if anyone knows why please let us know haha we are lost!) the castle and te beautiful view! Old town centre.. The list goes on! Pretty much every sight we could! We also visited a torture museum!! Oh my gosh!!! I'm so glad we didn't live in those days! Horrible!! But very interesting! We spent the night watching the sun set over the castle, went and had dinner at the Irish pub and got our faces painted with czech flags to support Czech in the football - they lost haha :/ . Prague is such a beautiful (romantic) city. I will definitely be coming back here when I have a proper camera! (b.t.w my camera broke the first day I arrived in Munich! Yesterday (22nd) we went out to a little (medievalish town) called kutna hora, we didnt really know what to expect but one of my friend told me there was a church of bones! Richie looked it up wrote be left and it said there were 40,000 bones there! Again the lack of English ( and our lack of Czech!) got us lost before we even got to the station!! We were literally sprinting for the train and made it with a minute to spare! It took an hour to get to kutna hora but worth it! The church was incredible! Tiny but FULL! Of bones! All the people had died from the plague 100's of years ago (don't worry the bones had been sterilised!) they were all over the church in patterns and piled up! (the first person to start designing I suppose the patterns was a blind monk! It was so incredible! We then ventured up to the main town, all te church's were gothic, big cathedrals everywhere. The town was so old and in a huge valley! There were even girls doing a fesiv (traditional dance) there music was beautiful (very medieval with flutes n what sounded like sticks, guitars etc) but it filled the whole village!) was very surreal! Again we took a lot of pictures and rich did is trade mark jump! I attempted, but epically!!! Failed! Haha there is one photo of me even attempting a hand stand! (am just not cut out to be a gymnast!) We decided to walk back to the train station and we got half way when I had an odd feeling the train left every hour! So I made Richie pic up te pace! Again we got te train by a Minute or two! (my spider senses were right!) Back to Prague it was! We got into prague and went for another wander down town, this time there were a whole heap of people, bands, food and alcohol! (rich n I are always in te right place at the right time it seems, first in Munich we were there the weekend of there traditional yearly day! And now we had walked into another mass festival!) we had a bite to eat and went and checked out the markets, and the lemon wall (graffiti wall) and the bridge of padlocks (newest craze in most cities!) very sweet! Today (23rd)we just spent wandering around the old town. Our Scottish friends checked out - heading to Vienna! We watched the big clock tower (yes I forgot the name) chime and do its little hourly ceremony, where saints circle around inside the clock and the golden chook, clucks haha and a man dressed in medieval dress plays the trumpet on the highest (reachable) part of the tower! We then thought (why not climb the stairs to the top! So off we went! I (which has never happened before got incredible scared! But we made it and the view over Prague was so beautiful! We could see everything! At 6pm we watcheds the ceramony from the top! It was great to see the crowd waiting for the chime! As we still have quite a lot of Czech knowns left we decided to spoil ourselves and have a nice dinner. I had salmon! (very nice) and rich had potato pasta something (but they were both delicious and only 525 including drinks which is $25 has unbelievable! Tomorrow we are off to Berlin! Another 5 hour train trip I think! Fingers crossed this one is better! Alex is visiting when we go to Paris which will be lovely :) but he is goog to bring my comp so I will be able to load pictures!!! For now try and check out my face book! Again sorry for the spelling! Hope everyone is well at home!! Bye for now and much love! Xxx

Time to travel!!

HI!! So I've sort of figured out how to work my blog on my phone :) although I am in Germany so all the directions are in German hahah oh dear. It's been such a quick few weeks! I think my last post I was talking about rich just getting to london (or just arriving) now he's been and gone and I'm now with him in our first stop... Munich! First I'll recap you on what's been going on. Richie arrived in london. He was only there one week and I had to work alot of it so it was a pretty hectic week! We saw all the main sites, big Ben, marble arch (missed hide park because I got lost haha hopeless!) but was a great week! He even got to experience going out with the Novus crowd! To much free alcohol haha and he couldn't get over how pretty my friends were. Which is always sweet! Then he was off!!! Spent the week in Zeeland in holland with his German friend for a week (similar to schoolies) he loved it, they went for bike rides and layed on the beach, etc. he seemed to love it! Minus the language barrier and the vegetarian meals!! Haha spinach and egg for dinner just really wasn't cutting it! Mean while I was in drizzly cold England (still!) trying to get ready for our 2 month adventure! I was suppose to do our itinerary but I found it quite difficult haha to much for me! I did try my best though and we har a rough idea of whet we want to go! We have been in Munich since Wednesday, spent Thursday looking around munich! I was trying to impress rich with my knowledge haha and everyone who knows me knows my knoweldge is pretty scattered hahaha. The buildings are amazing though! Everything is so huge! I've also tried my first German beer, in a stein (which we found out they don't actually call it a stein! So we have now been asking for a very big beer haha) I was already feeling the affects of the beer as soon as I finished it! Haha they are big beers! Yesterday we spent half the day the solar conversion. It was actually incredible the technolgy is amazing! After that we spent the afternoon lazing in sun! After lazing around we went to what was (on the net) the best biggest snitzel!!! (well done Richie!) I will try upload a picture but these snitzel (mine was a bit smaller, thank god) but they were the size of my head!!! They filled the whole plate!! Crazy! We finished and sat on the restaurant for an hour or so! Haha then could barely walk home so we stopped in a massive park with huge huge buildings so we decided to take pictures on the timer (I'll also try to put those photo's up as they are beautiful of I do say so myself haha. Tonight we are meeting with one of my friends (Maike Dern, exchange student) which Wil be very exciting!! And she speaks German which helps haha. Then off to Vienna for 4 days, Prague 5, Berlin 5, Amsterdam a few nights then off to Hagen (Germany) to do riches friend Laura's makeup for her formal :) Will be lovely. Then Paris, Spain, Italy and if we get there (fingers crossed) Greece! But that feels like forever away! Hope all is well back in aus, sadly I've heard the sun isnt shining!!but it is winter so it's expected. Xx Lots and lots of love (will definitely try to upload photos :) X P.s again exuse spelling mistakes! I phone has a mine of its own sometimes x

weekend in the country side

walk through the park

Rupert getting into the chocolate buttons!!

The massive tree branch that had been split, not so good for the fence but great for a bridge haha

The scenery

Alex's well impressed face as we were going back to London, I'm not sure whether it was because of the fact that he had to start work at 8am or the fact that (as you can tell in the next picture, he was sitting next to a weirdo!)

Some weirdo! (hour long train rides do me no good!)

weekend in the countryside

Howdy!
Well, where do i start. these last few weeks have been so busy! it is less than 2 weeks before Richie gets here and less than a month before we start to travel! I have decided to spend a bit of time in Greece, i cant remember if i mentioned that last time or if its something I've decided since my last post, but i need the sun and i think it will be amazing :)
I spent the weekend at Alex's Mum's house in Amersham, was so nice to just get away from all the hustle and bustle of London, you don't realise how much there is until you get out. was such a lovely weekend, we spent most of it just relaxing, took the dog for a walk which was so funny, he is so full of energy!! also went to lunch for his dad's birthday at a beautiful country club (all you can eat buffet!!) and then spent the day yesterday walking around his dad's property, the house and garden is so beautiful (the garden reminded me of secret garden ha ha) i worked Saturday night and didn't get out of work until 8am!! was such a long shift, so i hadn't slept, so i don't exactly remember the trip there, except supposedly on the bus ride to his mum's after being on the tube for an hour, the bus stopped suddenly and i smacked the back of my head on a pole ( i am oblivious to all of this, which is probably a good thing!) was very nice though, we stayed until Tuesday and headed back to London last night. first thing i hear as we got into the tube station in London is a crazy man, on some rant ha ha, welcome to London!
Right now though I'm sitting in bed Listening to Nora Jones (always reminds me of mum :), i also spent the morning looking at aunt Kerrie's photo's of Alaska and Canada, so beautiful!) I am now about to get up and ready to FINALLY!!! get my bank account sorted! one of my bosses brothers works in a bank here, but Jay has been away for 6 weeks so he is finally bank and finally getting my bank sorted! very happy!
xxx speak soon

I finally saw Big Ben!

Picadilly circus, standing next to cupid (Harry where are you? haha)

Trafalgar Square

also Trafalgar Square

I tried to get in front of the lion but it was wet and slippery and i had mum's voice in my head telling me it was a bad decision haha (thank you mum)

Big Ben inside the London Eye (not going to lie, i've been sitting here for 10 mins trying to remember the name of the london eye, was about to just write big white turning circle haha, oh dear)

Houses of Parliment

Long time no talk!

Hi!!!
I know it's been such a long time! I think I've had the most hectic few weeks, known to man!
i found a place which is nice but i've had absolutely no Internet there except for my phone which is very difficult to do this blog on, Internet actually finally gets there today! which will be great! means i will be able to blog more.
My phone has actually also completely died! its been playing up for the last week, i had it restored so i lost everything and it was still playing up and then yesterday it just turned it self off and had some funny words come up haha, so mum dad i am safe and if you need to ring me Alex (nice boy i met- no not i'm not getting married haha) lent me a old phone and the number is 07528837586. i will try to take my phone into the apple store today or tomorrow. its funny to because when i was telling Josh (em's boyfriend- just got back to London from travel)about my phone, apartment etc (a lot has happened the past week) he said you've had so much bad luck. I haven't even noticed it haha :S
but in more exciting news!
I have met some absolutely amazing people, i cant really remember what i told you in my last blog, but Dani a girl from work is lovely, we do quite a lot together also Paula from work (Estonian) is great, we are planning a trip to Denmark in the next month! she has a friend there who came and visited a few weeks ago, which will be so fun i'd love to see Denmark! (hopefully it will get a bit warmer between now and then)
Rich will be here at the end of the month! so i will just be working my bum off so when he comes over we can do some travelling! One of my friends from Aus is also here at the moment. everything is happening, never a dull moment.
I met a sweet English boy and i got a marriage proposal the other day as well haha of a 32 year old haha i told him where he could find my ring and that its 12,000 haha(just realised there is no pound button on my computer!)they love the Australians.
besides all that I am sick... AGAIN! the weather makes it hard i think, and inside is all warm then you walk out and your frozen!
I'm also realising how used to English i'm getting, I don't notice the accent at all and the other day em sent me a msg with $20 in it and i automatically read it as pounds, dear dear haha.
It's bank holiday this weekend, we were thinking of going to Brighton but the weather is looking miserable!! so maybe just do some fun activies around London!!
I will put up pictures soon i promise!
xoxo love lots and miss you all and will speak soon!
p.s i'm not sure if it will work but if you get on this you may be able to look at my pictures i've up loaded hopefully! xxx

Ginger biscuits!

Hey! So I'm sitting in a juice bar and I thought what better way to pass the time than by writing this. I had to check out of the hostel (I'm in a hostel at the moment by the way) because they have no rooms lol. Right now is where I must say thank you and that I'm so greatful to have my family nd friends (new and old) giving me places to crash and doing over time on their computers to help me look for a place. It is my fault that I haven't found something by now, I joule have looked harder! But non the less I am where I am and it can only go up from here. I'm so lucky to have the people at work, I've been offered a bed, couch, floor haha everything from all of them which is so nice to know I can be half way across the world and still have met people as lovely as that. Tonight I'm staying at Danni's, she is I think the most beautiful person I've met, she's from Essex and and aspiring actress and she just has the biggest heart. She offered me her bed and that her and her boyfriend would sleep on the couch! And ive only really known her a few weeks! She's just such a nice person. I've also been getting swarms of emails of everyone, including dad at 4 am haha with places. I'm very greatful and thank everyone so much for looking out for me. I dunno where I'd be without you X In other news. I'm addicted to ginger ! Haha thanks to Paula at work who gave me a ginger biscuit 2 weeks ago. I've managed to have 3 packets since! And every time I've got a fruit juice (which is quite often cos I feel like I need fruit) I get ginger put in it! Talk about a weird craving haha. It is cold! Again. Although the sun is out which is nice, but it's expected to rain which is a shame. Am very excited for richie to come over . I sat down and wrote everything down last night. Get my head into gear and it made me realise how close it actually is! One month!! My friend Greg (police officer) is also coming over start of may! So I'm going to be so busy! I'm also thinking of the possibility of venturing to California at the end of the year and then to Seattle to see Chelsea (the girl I FDIC exchange with when I was 17) which will be exciting! And California will be warm! So I'm excited about the thought of that. Other than that I'm hoping of all goes well ill be able to open my bank account today! And cash my cheques from work! So I have money haha. I'm listening to Bon Iver right now (amazing solo artist) if you get a chance YouTube him. Bon Iver - skinny love , is a good song. Anyway I'm off to sit in the little bit of sun for the morning. X

The weather has turned!

Hey sorry it's been a little while, I have been so flat out, working! But has been fun and it's money for when richie comes over :) I have been to lunch today with Ben, he lives for Thailand tomorrow for two weeks! Lucky bugger! And have spent a few days with josh hogan this week as well which has been nice :) we did the big bus tour the other day which was actually really fun! So now when rich comes over we know the places to take him! Although a bit sad as my camera is not working properly, I hope it's just something small that's fixable. I did get a few pics on Ni phone though so will upload them! I also apologie in advance as I am using my phone to do this because we don't have any Internet at the moment! Very frustrating! But if some words don't quite make sense that's due to the lovable predictive iPhone txt haha. I also went out the other night with the work crew (a Tuesday night) haha but was very fun, my boss is going to te phillipenes to get married so e is gone for 6 weeks so we had a little send off :) The weather has turned, it is very cold again! 7 degrees today :( I'm not very impressed! I was only slowly getting used to it before but then it got warm and now it's cold again :( oh well I do have to remind myself it's not Qld! Lol Besides that not alot has happened, I'm great at cocktail making now! Which is good and means I enjoy work alot more and I have started exercising again which is making me feel better! Ad my bike is almost finished :):) xxx Love lots! X

This and That

HI!!!
It's 10:30pm, I'm thinking of bed very shortly, but just thought I'd write a little more and put up some pictures :)
I went out with the whole work crew Saturday night, free alcohol all night! Lets just say i felt it yesterday ha ha. but i had a really great night, there is a good little crew at work, and they are all young, which is great for me.
Then yesterday I caught up with one of the girls i made friends with at bar school. Her name is Sofia, she's from Argentina, really nice girl! so we went out for dinner and she drank (I could barely look at the stuff ha ha)all in all had a really lovely day :)
Worked this morning, which i was nervous about because it was promo work and i haven't done sales since December so was a bit rusty, but was really fun! started at 7 30am (to early on a Monday!) but was finished by 3, so went and spoiled myself and had lunch around the corner from work, and walked around St Paul's, am writing a list of all the things i want to see with either Rich or Josh.. And yes SUPER excited about Richie coming over! will be wonderful!
I've also had two people in a day tell me my painting is good. Ben even wants me to paint one on his wall! ha ha I must be doing something right!
Not alot else is new, working 5 times this week! a lot but some extra cash! and starting to get excited as the weather has just been so so beautiful! making me a lot happier! :) anyway i will leave you with just a few pictures of things i've been doing :)
X
p.s We have figured out that if you want to comment you have to go through anonymously, you just have to put your name at the end so i can see who it is ha ha... I love reading them too!!! xxx

my feet haha, well new shoes :)

St Art that was being painting the other day across the road from home

St Paul's Cathedral, such a beautiful building!

Yes i know what your thinking, I am one classy bird haha

almost the weekend

It's another amazingly beautiful day!!
although I did have the heater on, which I got in trouble for, like mother like daughter ha ha.
I had a lovely day the other day, I went to lunch with Lovisa (it was sunny and very body looked so happy. it's true that the weather really does control your mood! I then went and had a beer with Ben at this little pub in the middle of a park and its the only building there, very odd looking but very sweet. I then came home and watched bear grills ha ha, perfect day (and i also now know how to get back to civilisation if i were to get stuck in South America ha ha)
I worked last night until 1 30, was enjoyable for work. Today has been nice, been to brunch with Ben and I also bought a bike! it was on the side of the road next to the beautiful little cafe we went to (right on the canal, looking over at the Olympic stadium.)
The bike was only 50 quid! which is a bargain around these parts, so Ben helped me bring it home and he's going to help me do it up! I've chosen a pretty blue colour for it.. it will be the talk of the town! ha ha. and will also save me on tube cost, which will be nice. (yes mum i will wear a helmet and be very careful on the roads :) ha ha, but truthfully, so many people don't wear helmets over here and it worries me.)
as for tonight I am working, Hopefully will finish at 1am but will see how we go, and then a sleep in tomorrow and get working on my bike! :) looking forward to it.

another day of sunshine!

OK so i didn't go to Paris or Edinburgh, but I did go shopping :S ha ha, well it didn't start out as shopping, it started out as me going into westfield's to, again try and get my bank account set up (and yet again, not being successful! honestly it shouldn't be this hard, how do all the  other Aussies do it!!) anyway great marketing strategy for everything else by having a bank in a westfields, because i went shopping ha ha, but i will do myself justice by saying it was for spring/summer stuff.. one because i only had a 20kg limit and my bag was no jokes 19.9kgs haha and two because i assumed England was forever cold (it's not, word of the wise ha ha) today i was actually only in a cardigan when coming home from work at 9:30pm!! (a new cardigan i might add, its maroon and very pretty, ha ha.) so that was my day yesterday, it was a beautiful day, sunny and what not! and i bought some very pretty clothes, a dress, a cardigan, some tops, some shoes (which i desperately needed!)and some undies ha ha. so it wasn't money wasted. today i was going to have  a late lunch with Lovisa, before she heads back to Sweden but i got called into work, so i worked, but it was quiet so that made it all the bit better. Lunch is tomorrow now! looking forward to it! and Joshua Hogan comes over soon which I am so excited about!
All in all I had an amazing day, and I'd also like to congratulate Louise and Justin on bringing there absolutely Gorgeous Daughter into the world! She is so beautiful!!! (I love facebook, as it has already given me the chance to see her!) to bad i can't be there to meet her + distract the boys so Lou and Jus can have some quiet time ha ha.
Not a lot planned for the rest of the week, i am working Thursday Friday night so might go to Trafalgar square tomorrow or the London eye! ha ha something touristy must be done!
bye for now! xx
p.s HAPPY BIRTHDAY STU!! Love you x

Another 11 degree day!

Hi!
I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing weekend. It is a beautiful day today!!! the sun is out and It's about 11 degrees, mum you'd love it ha ha.
It was Mother's Day on Sunday, so i ventured off to surrey to see Holly and spend the day with her and the family (i took her some flowers, i know I'm sweet ha ha, but she has done a lot for me so it was a nice little thank you) it was a really nice day, we had lunch at a nice country pub/restaurant and although it was about 6/7 degrees it looked beautiful and there were hardly any clouds in the sky! my favourite thing about a day like yesterday was seeing all these people on the tube/train with flowers.. these people do have compassion, they aren't just robots! (has been a suspicion of mine for a while now ha ha)
I am actually looking up the train to Paris right now. I was going to see if Lovisa (the girl i was suppose to be moving in with) wanted to come, as she is leaving back to Sweden on Thursday and I'll have to be back for work Thursday, if not i might just leave this afternoon and spend tomorrow and Wednesday there :) we'll see.. My French hasn't exactly improved since i was 12, ha ha but i do know my colours, so if all else fails I'll just start listing off the colours :S
I also got a lovely call from miss Jessica Reid the other day, was very lovely to hear here voice and hear about what she was up too!
So that's pretty much where I'm at right now. I've been a bit sick again! but that's just me i think.
Bye for now!

art

So I'm not going to say what time I got up today, all I will say is it was late ha ha, my body clock is so confused and the working until all hours has changed it back to Aus time lol. But when I did manage to drag myself out of bed i decided to spend, what day I had left painting :). I wasn't exactly sure what to paint, so I just painted whatever my hand drew really, and after showing them to dad i can now tell you that one means I'm isolated ha ha another means my mood changed and the other one is bright so I guess that means I'm happy? lol I'll put them up so you can see what my day consisted of.
I've also decided to write a list of things i want to do in London before I blink and it's all over. I will also put that up, so you can keep track and nag me to do it!
Tomorrow sadly my day consists of working again 5pm until early hours, then makeup Thursday, Friday :). Although I do have the weekend off, and It's St Patrick's Day ha ha, I'm sure there will be pictures!

A few little shots

Just a few pictures :)
how beautiful
This was a picture i took and changed into a scretch. love the Iphone.

A day in and around Shoreditch

So after an intensive few days with work! makeup and bar, i spent the weekend recovering.. (the life of working ha ha) i will mention it was only two days worth, but still! it was a huge two days.
So after a relaxing weekend of movies and some chocolate ice cream! i thought i should venture out and once again explore my new city, and the cleaner was coming so i had to leave the house ha ha. I decided to wonder down to Shoreditch. So i hopped on the number 8 bus and i was off! at 20km/h hitting EVERY red light and stopping a thousand times (it probably would have been quicker for me to walk) but i finally arrived at my destination!
WHAT NOW! i didn't have any plans or really know anywhere i wanted to go.. and.. i couldn't find my camera ha ha.. so i literally just wondered! again there is the coolest and weirdest street art/people/places in shoreditch, the culture here is like nothing I've ever seen. its a mix of rockabilly/cool kid's/ muso's/artists/homeless ha ha. but there is something so captivating about it! anyway i know i talk about it a lot so i thought I'd do my best and use my Iphone to capture what i see! tomorrow i am venturing to see the London eye i think! something i should of done when i got here! and also find a few cool little galleries.
I also now have a little podge (chubby belly) (something I'm not very pleased about!!) sadly its my own fault! to much alcohol and pasta! ha ha so a run may be in order!
I hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Being a Tourist

Me at Buckinham Palace

Tuesday

so it's a Tuesday and I'm sitting on a super comfy lounge deciding what to do with my day (bear in mine its 4pm ha ha), listening to the shins, looking up street art ha ha (productive). its miserable outside, but the weather is never going to change so i have to make the most of it. I've decided on three things i want to buy, an airbrush (can use for my makeup too), canvas and paint. Shoreditch has reminded me how much i love painting! (If you don't know where shoreditch is google it or look up east London street art, these people are incredible!
Lovisa (girl from hostel - Lovely) and I are on a mission tomorrow to find a place, we are very sick of the hostel! there is only so much time one can share a room with 11 other girls! so that will be amazing, just difficult as it's so different to aus, none of this 23rd story, beautiful views business ha ha, looking at tiny rooms, tiny bathrooms and constant tube rides ha ha. but worth it. I have been having that 'week' (everyone has it I'm sure) where I've tried to decide if I've made the right decision to pick up and move half way across the world, having the cold/flu and no sleep didn't help these feelings, but waking up today and realising that I'm so lucky to even have the chance to be here and the atmosphere over here is incredible  and the fact that I'm 2 hours away from Paris made me realise that YES it was a good decision and i have to 'pull my head in' (ha ha) but its true, I'm here to enjoy what the English have to offer and i will!
I am going to start painting again and looking for makeup work, and maybe even dabble in some photography, who knows, the world is my oyster!
(mum, dad i am OK. i know you've had a few msg's over the past few days but i am happy and loving it!)
will organise a trip to Paris soon, so there will definitely be pictures from that, and I'm going to start doing some travelling around England! i really want to see Edinburgh, there are a lot of ads for it, looks beautiful.
anyway I'm not to sure how these work so read it if you want, don't if you don't want to ha ha.
also if you have ideas on places i should visit please let me know! I'm ready to explore!

London

(pic by Billy Brown)
so this is my new home. London, do i love it? YES, do i hate it? YES ha ha. but all in all its an adventure I'm ready to take! bring on the next two years!
so far I've been a bit lazy, I've only seen a few sights and I'm not going to lie i haven't even seen the infamous big Ben!! but i did get a job! working in a very classy bar and doing some makeup work with Holly (who i am so grateful to have here, by the way) so I've been so flat out and it's only just begun!
I've also met some amazing and talented people. The art is incredible over here and the talented people make it worth it. There was a man in Piccadilly the other day plumping out the most amazing tunes with buckets! I did take a video but accidentally deleted it, when i see him again i will be sure to put it on.. (jaws will drop!)
i just thought i'd put this picture up because its beautiful and it really does capture london. i'm sure there will be plenty more pictures to come!
